The Courage to Be Rich

Last month I hosted a call titled “I’m Brilliant…and I’m Broke!” The response I got to that call was pretty amazing because it made me realize that there is a lot more going on in the minds of heart-centered women entrepreneurs than just how to increase their fees and build up their cash flow.

Many of the women on the call took advantage of my offer for a money breakthrough strategy session. What I heard over and over again was the voice of the monster in their head, telling them they weren’t smart enough, they didn’t know enough and/or they weren’t good enough.

Except – you are brilliant, you are smart and you do know enough! So, what’s not working? How come when you look in the mirror (or your checkbook) you don’t see reflected back to you the power of your own value?

It got me thinking about what it takes to conquer that monster in our head that keeps small and the word that came to me was courage.

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear. ~Ambrose Redmoon

The word originally comes from the latin word cor, meaning “heart”. What gives us courage is that place deep in our heart that says “this is important! This is so important that I will defend it to my last breath, with every ounce of my strength. I will go outside my comfort zone and possibly risk injury or peril, because I believe that the outcome is so important that these risks are worth it.”

Does that sound like you when you get out of bed in the morning to get ready for work? Are you fully committed to taking your gifts and talents out into the world in a powerful way the serves the greater good? Or do you listen to the monster in your head that says, “hey, it’s a scary place out there, maybe I’ll just wait until I …know enough, have enough, or am enough…

The courage to be rich isn’t only about abundant possessions and material wealth. It’s about living a life of “richness” – not just having things of high value and quality, but owning our OWN value and quality.

Some of the definitions of the word “rich” in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary are “magnificently impressive”, “highly seasoned”, “meaningful”, “significant” and my favorite, “lush”. So I ask you…what needs to be true for you to step into the power of your own value? To see yourself as magnificently impressive, highly seasoned and lush?

If you would like to explore these ideas and concepts further, join me on April 21 at 4pm Pacific/7 pm Eastern, for my next f*ree tele-call, “The Courage to Be Rich”.

And because I think this is such a juicy and “rich” topic, I am going to be taking questions live on the call. This could be your opportunity to get spotlight coaching on those issues that are getting in the way of your financial abundance.

You are brilliant, and you have gifts and talents the world needs. Having the financial resources to step out in a big way starts with believing in the power of your own greatness. Come to the call and find out what might be getting in the way of creating the “richness” you deserve. For details go to www.MoneyBreakthroughBrilliance.com
